GPS were engaged to undertake a review of the existing car park circulation and access arrangements at this existing site.
Following an initial site survey, proposals were developed to maximise capacity whilst keeping the car park layout straightforward to navigate with optimum traffic circulation and geometric standards that achieve vehicle manoeuvring standards.
Access to the public highway was improved by simple geometric alterations which required careful negotiations and planning with private utility companies. The proposals also included alteration to finished levels to provide optimum falls within the car park.
