GPS was appointed by ASDA to manage the comprehensive rebranding of 483 petrol stations across the UK, including Co-op, ASDA On The Move, and SPAR locations. This project required seamless coordination of diverse stakeholders and efficient site management, achieving an impressive 24-hour turnaround per location. GPS’s expertise in project and programme management ensured a smooth transition, from signage upgrades to IT system installations, with minimal disruption.
This large-scale rebrand involved the rebranding of petrol stations at 116 Co-op sites, 177 ASDA On The Move sites, and 177 SPAR locations, plus the debranding of 13 Co-op stations. GPS handled everything from condition surveys to landscaping and health and safety improvements, with an average conversion time of 24 hours per site. The successful completion of the project solidified GPS’s reputation for fast, high-quality retail transformation projects.
