GPS were engaged to design and project manage access improvements at the site due to historical layout issues which resulted in confusion for customers and increased likelihood of accidents.
GPS successfully obtained planning approval, technical approval from the local highway authority and assisted in ensuring the Section 278 Agreement was entered into by the relevant parties.
The scheme provided a simplified layout which was easy for customers to navigate and reduced the number of conflict and decision points in the customer journey to the site. The persistence of our design and project management team ensured the project was delivered successfully and all the relevant stakeholder approvals were obtained through effective communication and project controls.
