GPS were approached to programme and project manage the remedial works associated with a party wall scheme at Kings Heath. The Coffee Shop had severe damage to the existing render on the gable elevation.
The scheme was split into 2 phases. The 1st phase was to remove the existing render from the elevation and ensure protectection over a short period before the 2nd phase was implemented. Phase 2 consisted of Helibar repairs, tree removals, application of render and the installation of a new boundary timber fence with an access gate.
Detail designs of the render application were carefully drawn up to work with the difficult details of the eaves, facia and adjoining roofs.
GPS worked closely with the Architect and Principal Contractor to enable a seamless process throughout the programme, achieving Building Control and Party Wall Surveyor approvals.
